The vital traits of an Entrepreneur...

Starting a business is hard work, and if you only enjoy a few hours of work per day, it's not for you. If you seek a challenge, are willing to take a risk, and want to chase the potential rewards that having your own business would come with, then read on... you may the traits that are recognised in the majority of Entrepreneurs..

The first trait of an Entrepreneur is curiosity. They share the same, 'What if?' mentality, and will always feel the need to give something a go. Curiosity means asking questions, asking questions means learning. Learning is normally revolved around customers and new up and coming ideas. The more you find out about, the more success you will be inclined to have.
What trait goes perfectly with Curiosity? Creativity! The more ideas which you are exposed to, the more creative you will become - and you are soon on the road to success! That's what Entrepreneurs do, they create things.. so the creativity needs to be there.
If you're going to go ahead with your ideas, and hopefully employ other people to help you, you need to possess strong leadership skills. A leader has strong communication skills and the ability to direct a team of people toward a common goal in a way that the entire team is motivated and works effectively to get there. A leader demonstrates positive work qualities to ensure team members follow, as a leader that nobody follows, is not a leader at all.
If you're willing to start a brand new business from scratch, you need to be highly motivated, and have a willingness to fail. It is a known fact that some of the most successful entrepreneurs have failed several times before making it, proving that you should never give up. Successful people go out into the world and invoke change through their actions. They are very passionate about their ideas that drive toward these ultimate goals and are notoriously difficult to steer off the course.
Entrepreneurs enjoy a challenge and they like to win.  In business it's a constant war with competition to win business and grow market share. Entrepreneurs need to be highly competitive, and always strive to be at the top. Without this drive and thirst for success, the business will not go as far as you would hope. The hard work you put into your business, will determine the success you get out of it.
The last vital trait is to understand the value of great business relationships. Entrepreneurs rarely get to success alone. The best of the bunch realise that  it takes a network of contacts, business partners, financial partners, peers and resources to succeed. Effective people nurture these relationships and surround themselves with people who can help make them more effective. Any good leader is only as good as those who support him.
